Sadbarkhon AKHUNOVA, the mother of Shavkat Akhunov, a member of the Association for Human Rights in Central Asia residing in Norway, passed away suddenly on 13 December 2024, in Margilan, Uzbekistan, at the age of 81.
Sadbarkhon AKHUNOVA was born in 1943 in Margilan. She raised four children as a widow and endured the hardship of being separated from her son, who has been persecuted on false charges by Uzbekistan.
